About Us

Wendy Mauch, Founder, CEO and Art Consultant

Having grown up with an artist as a father, Wendy has forever been interested in improving the visual appeal of otherwise ordinary spaces.

Wendy began her career in selling photography services to the military and from there became a top design consultant with Ambius, marketing interior plantscapes for commercial spaces, and consistently being in the top ranks.

However, it was her cancer diagnosis in 2009 that truly propelled her complete appreciation of the effect of art on the occupant. She was sitting in an oncologist’s office awaiting the outcome of tests to determine what type of chemo and/or radiation treatments awaited her while looking at a black & white photograph of a tree in winter. Stark, without leaves, a very visual analogy to what she might be facing – hair loss and perhaps far worse. Clearly, the framed photo had been chosen because it matched the wall paint or perhaps the office manager liked black & white photography. It certainly was not selected with the patient in mind. When Wendy mentioned this to the doctor, she affirmed her perception and indicated she’d never realized the effect the photo might have on her patients. At that moment Wendy decided she could make a difference in the lives of patients, visitors, office occupants, and customers — It was then Corporate Art Trends was born. The drive and heartfelt passion ignited that day propelled Wendy throughout her recovery.

Wendy immersed herself in Evidence Based Design, quickly becoming an expert in creating a visual therapeutic environment for patients. She believes that artwork should be selected based on the primary use of the facility, and creates client portfolios for child/adolescent care, senior living, mental health, aged care and of course cancer treatment and recovery. She applies the same focus to commercial office spaces, taking time and energy to determine the firm’s core belief system and objectives, designing spaces for employees, executives, and customers.

Wendy routinely builds lasting relationships with clients by virtue of her innate ability to relate to their desires and concerns and translates those into a portfolio that surpasses anything they might have expected. No matter the scale of the job or the depth of the budget, Wendy, and her staff apply their customized, client-centered approach to every project. Her singular focus is to produce an end result that pleases the top decision-makers and financial managers, energizes the workforce and elicits trust from customers and guests. While one could say that artwork is derived from passion and commitment, Wendy truly believes that thoughtfully selected artwork elicits passion, commitment, strength, faith, and hope and looks forward to the opportunity to share these truths with you.

Audrey Clack

Audrey graduated from Samford University in 2020 with her Bachelor’s in Interior Design with a minor in Fine Art. She has always enjoyed being involved in creativity and beautification and has been practicing different forms of visual art since she was a child. She began selling her own paintings as a high schooler to people in her community and continued this work through her college years and to the present. During college, she interned at an interior design firm here in Central Florida that specializes in healthcare design. This sparked her interest in the healthcare design industry as a way to improve the experience of those who may be suffering for health reasons. She was thrilled to join Wendy’s team at Corporate Art Trends, Inc. in 2020 because it was an opportunity not only to design for healthcare, but to design the art, which is truly a dream come true.
